Spring is coming

I can't wait to get outside and photograph. It's been a long winter even though we haven't suffered with the cold and snow we normally get. For some reason I just can't convince anyone to be photographed in the snow, not sure why. We all live in Michigan after all, maybe next year. Bring on the warm weather. I'm so ready. Right now I've got to decide what landscaping project to tackle for spring and summer. Anybody got any ideas? Comment and share please. This Spring the outside of the studio gets painted. I've put it off long enough. My dear husband will be the laborer. He's not only the best singer-drummer around, he's also a meticulous painter. The lobby's going to go through a makeover soon also. I think I'm going to keep the green just add more purple. Looking for different furnishings, not having much luck but will keep trying.

Boys like their picture taken too.

It's the strangest thing. Not sure if you all agree with me or not but it seems like the boys don't get their portraits taken as much as the girls. Every special I have for girls is totally booked in advance but the boys specials (even Minis) don't ever fill up. It's a shame. Not sure why this is. It's not stopping us though. Here's another special, just for the boys. I even made it a mini, hoping that would encourage bookings. Boys like their pictures taken too.

Fairy Special Coming

This years Fairy Special is Feb 17 & 18. I just finished designing and sewing the new Fairy dresses. Still working on headpieces and accessories. I'm really looking forward to seeing my designs on the girls. We still have a few appointments left if you're interested. I have outfits from Teens to sitting up babies. Call us soon. This special is very popular.

Goodbye 2011

Goodbye 2011, hello 2012. That was a fast year. I'm finding as I get older, time flys faster. Doesn't seem to be fair, "such is life" as my father use to say. I actually am looking forward to a new year. I haven't made any resolutions because why? They're just too hard to keep. Why set myself up for failure. What I have decided is that this year will be a year of creativity. I'm hoping to amaze myself, which isn't easy. We are our own worst critics after all. I just might go back to Paris or maybe a trip to Italy. Italy is on my bucket list. I want to make a difference in someone's life, not sure how, but I have my eyes and heart open. Okay, blah, blah, blah, I know....Here's what's coming at Cita. Fairy Special in Feb. The new fairy outfits are designed, the materials bought and ready to be sewn. The background has been chosen along with the props. You're going to "love" this years Fairy Special. We are offering discounts on select wall portraits and much more. Need to get sewing.
